passed away at home on March 4, 2010 after a brave battle with ALS. Emil was born on October 18, 1924 in Cleveland, OH. He was a self-employed pioneer in the petroleum industry for over 50 years. Mr. Pawuk was a veteran of the U. S. Army and U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by parents Hatanus and Pazia and brothers, Mike and Steve. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Irene (Hnat); son, Mark (Bonnie); and grandchildren, Kassandra and Kyle. Visitation Monday, March 8 from 4:00 & 8:00 p.m at the FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME 7076 Brecksville Rd, Independence, Oh 44131 Funeral Liturgy Tuesday 9:30 a.m. at St. Hilary Church 2750 West Market Street, Fairlawn Ohio 44333. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.) Interment Maple Shade Cemetery Independence, Ohio. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Hilary School 2750 West Market Street or Walsh Jesuit High School 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44224.
